The article is devoted to the analysis of the peculiarities of the manuscript of Vyacheslav Ivanov’s poem “Aevum aetherium” (1904) in the context of the poets’ testimonies about the process of poetry creation. It makes it possible to draw a num¬ber of remarkable conclusions concerning Ivanov’s using of rhymes and sounds as well as his interest for fixed metric forms.
